ABOUT ME
Hi, my name’s Ron and I came into the care of the rescue at just 1 week of age with my siblings after being found in an industrial site by an employees. We were taken to a local vet who made contact with the rescue. Thankfully the rescue was able to secure an experienced carer to undertake the arduous task of 'hand-raising' us.
Being raised by a mother of the human variety has meant I've have had a very different upbringing to a typical kitten. What do I mean by that? Well, the hand-rearing process has fostered very special relationships between myself and the human companions I keep, particularly my foster mother.
Adventure is definitely my thing, second only to snuggles (I like those too!). I love to explore to new and exciting environments and once I’m familiar with my surroundings, I’ll carefully position myself in a safe and secure "hidey spot" and pounce on an unsuspecting victim... at just the right moment. Oh and also, I like to conceal myself under the bed and ambush the humans as they retire for the evening. My timing has to be just right though, they have to have just fallen asleep. When I’m not being a terroristic menace? I’ll be up for a cuddle… make sure there’s room on a lap… any lap!
So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? My playful and inquisitive personality means I’ll need a home that will be up for a bit of fun! Cats? I’m a fairly independent kitten so while I do enjoy the company of other kitties, I’ll be just fine without them. Dogs? I'm great with dogs! Children? I am great with children however, would prefer a home with children who'll be respectful of my space (ages 3+).
