ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Berry & I came into the care of the rescue with my siblings after being surrendered by our previous owner. Thankfully the rescue was contacted who wasted no time in finding a suitable foster carer who was able to provide a safe and loving environment for us until forever homes are found.
I am sure the first thing you'll notice about me is striking black coat. The second thing you'll notice about me is my captivating, sparkling amber peepers. They purrfectly compliment my coat. The third thing you'll notice about me (and by this point, I'm sure I'd already have won you over) is my curious and playful and affectionate personality. Playing with my siblings is my activity of choice. Within the blink of an eye, the home quickly becomes an obstacle course with you, an obstacle. In terms of affection levels, I'm one of those kitties that prefers to take in my surroundings than harass the humans for attention. That's not to say I'm not affectionate, I am, but it's all on my terms.
So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? Being the most reserved of my litter, it can take me a bit of time to warm up to new people. I’m seeking a patient home that’ll give me plenty of time to settle in. Cats? I love the company of other kitties BUT, I am not dependant on their company.... which means I’ll adapt well to a home with another kittie or too, but will also do just fine in a home where I am the solo-uno kittio. Dogs? Currently in care with a low energy doggie and have adapted well to their company. Children? I won't do well in a home with loud children. I'll do just fine with older kidlets that are respectful of my space (ages 8+).
