ABOUT ME

Hi, my name’s Mia & I came into the care of the rescue after finding myself homeless and scared at a local pound. Thankfully the rescue found a wonderful carer who was able to take me in.

What a change I've made.... One of the more timid of my cohort, it was typically expected that I'd flee into a corner when approached. I would avoid eye contact and flinch when touched. Then one day I had my light bulb moment. With the love and kindness my rescuers had shown me, I realised humans aren't all that scary... & just like that, I've done a 180! I now enjoy human attention & will seek it out when I'm wanting a cuddle. While I'm for the most part a more relaxed kitty, I may need space from time to time. In these moments you might find my perched somewhere high, watching my siblings as they play. Don't worry though, this is generally short lived... I'm generally back to exploring within the blink of an eye.

So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? I'll need a patience and understanding home, willing to give me plenty of time to adjust to all the change that comes with an adoption. Cats? I adore the company of other kitties. Dogs? I've adjusted well to the company of my canine counterparts. Children? My relaxed personality makes me a great adoption candidate for a family environment. I'll do fine with kidlets who're respectful of my space.... and give me time to ‘chill’ when needed (ages 3+).

ADOPTION PACKAGE
Adoption fee is $450 which covers 1st vaccination, de-sexing, microchip, worming, flea treatment and vet check.
