ABOUT ME
Hi, my name's Valiant & I came into the care of the rescue after finding myself homeless, at a local pound. The rangers noticed there was something a little different about me- however, weren't able to articulate what. Irrespective, the rescue wasn't going to leave me behind & arranged a foster carer to take me in. Thankfully the rescue found a wonderful carer who was able to take me in.
So, we probably need to now address the elephant in the room. I can't drop a bomb like the above and walk away without an explanation. Let me do my best...
You see, I have a few quirks- all neurological related. It takes me a little longer than most to do and process things. My delivery of the things I do isn't well, the most elegant. I wobble a little bit and sometimes my coordination isn't the best.... BUT, let me be clear- this is no way impacts my quality of life. I still live life to the fullest! I'm still playful and I still love to spend time with people.
So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? I can initially be wary of strangers, so am seeking a patient home that'll provide me plenty of time to adjust to all the changes that come with an adoption. Cats? I’m currently in care with other kittie cats and have adapted well to their company. That said, introductions with newbies should be done with care and consideration (it likely won’t be love at first sight). Dogs? I'm currently in care with a doggie and have adapted well to their cpmpany. Children? I'm not suited to a home with young, boisterous children however.... will be ok with kidlets who are respectful of my space (ages 5+).
